Eva's Christmas Spirit....

Little Miss Eva got into the Christmas spirit yesterday. Aside from the Bah Humbug look, and the resemblance to a little Napoleon Bonaparte, she had fun wearing her santa hat. Her first week home has been great, but Dave and I forgot what it was like to live your daily existance in 3 hour intervals. She has been warming her Daddy's heart since she arrived, along with her big sister.

Eva Sally is Here!!!!

We are pleased to announce the newest arrival of the Pratt clan...Eva Sally. She was born on December 7th at 4:33 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 14 ounces and is 19 1/2 inches long. After spending a couple nights at the hospital, we arrived home today. She is amazing and looks just like her big sister Audrey. Audrey couldn't be happier to be a big sister and loves to help us take care of her!

Audrey and Santa...

We went to see Santa yesterday, and it was fun. Audrey was so excited to talk to him, that by the time it was her turn to sit on his lap, she became star struck and didn't know what to say! He asked her what she wanted and she said a present. I think the elves can help out this year with that one!

She also saw a Santa at PetsMart getting pictures with doggies and other animals, so in her mind there are now 2 different types of Santa's. One for pets, and one for her! We are also just waiting around and counting down the days to the birth of Eva. She is still hanging on, but will be pushed into the world kicking and screaming on Friday if nothing else happens between now and then. I have been having serious contractions, and labor pains, but nothing consistent yet. If I could break my own water right now I would! :) We will keep you posted!

Turkey Day 2007!

We had an awesome Thanksgiving this year. We had our friends over and being as pregnant as I am and due any day now, I made my first Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was really tasty, our friends made an tasty ham, and my turkey came out great! At least it wasn't turkey jerky! The kids enjoyed it, we ate till we were stuffed, watched football, and fell asleep. All in all a successful holiday!

Audrey Turned 3!!!

We can't believe it's time for Audrey's birthday again. She turned the big 3 on Saturday the 17th. We had a Mickey Mouse party (of course)! She had a great birthday and enjoyed having all of her friends around to celebrate with her. Of course she is already looking forward to her next birthday.

Halloween!

It's Halloween time again, and we had lots of fun! We hosted the annual Pratt Halloween Party, and Dave's costume was the best! He also won the poker game that night, and obviously had a great time after that! The kids all had fun playing pumpkin golf, and halloween twister.

We also had a party at Audrey's school. She had a great time with all of her friends, and played lots of games and won some prizes.

Then of course, we had Halloween. Audrey loved it, and couldn't wait to go to every house to get candy. She has been practicing saying "Trick or Treat" all week. She walked all over the neighborhood, and got lots of candy. It was a great Halloween!

Corn Maize Hondo, TX

We went to the Corn Maize down in Hondo, TX. We had a great time, in the maize, raced duckies in water, jumped on the popcorn popper, and my favorite of all, shot ears of corn out of a cannon! Audrey had a great time wandering through the maize, although she kept trying to cut through the corn. It was a beautiful fall day for TX - meaning it was 85 degrees!
So far, our fall season has been packed with lots of fun!

Pumpkin Patch!

We went out to Love Creek Orchards today to get our Jack O'Lanterns. We played in the hay maze, painted pumpkins, and played in the petting zoo. There were so many baby chickens. I wanted to sneak one home! We also played musical instruments with the Orchard band. We had such a great day, and Audrey picked some great pumpkins for our Halloween party.

It's Mickey Mouse!!

Well, Halloween is still a few weeks away, but Audrey already has her costume and is ready to go! She is Mickey Mouse this year, her favorite. She looks so adorable in those ears, and we can't wait to take her trick or treating.

Audrey's School Photos

I can't believe it is that time of year again already, but we have received Audrey's school photos. She is now in the 3 year old room, and loves it. She loves being with all of her friends, and music class the best. She has been working with Dave and is starting to learn how to read books with him. She loves to help us read her favorite book about Curious George.

"Shoes" the Scarecrow

We couldn't be more excited, fall has finally arrived. Although in Texas, you know fall has arrived when the temp reaches 90 degrees. Audrey couldn't be happier. She loves the apples and the pumpkins that come with the change of season, but she has found her new favorite fall activity........building a scarecrow! Dave and I helped her put together her very own scarecrow. She has decided to name him "shoes the scarecrow". Of course he wouldn't be an official part of the Pratt family if he wasn't wearing his Michigan shirt.

Football Season is Here!

It's that time of year again! Michigan and Bama football have officially started. The flags are out, and although Michigan had a rough start, Audrey's team spirit is still in full swing. She has learned all the words to "Hail to the Victors" this year and loves Big Al. Everytime she sees him she screams "Roll Tide". Bama's season is looking great so far, and I couldn't be happier they hired Nick "Satan" Saban. Michigan is looking better and better every week, and we are hoping for a 9-2 season. Saturday in the fall just can't be beat.

Michigan/Chicago/South Bend Excursion

One of our vacations this year was to see the family, go to a friends wedding, and take some time out for ourselves and go to Chicago. We dropped Audrey off in Adrian with Grandma and Grandpa and headed to Chicago. As pregnant as I was, I managed to walk all over the Miracle Mile, go to the Art Institute, the aquarium, and Millenium Park. After a jam packed 2days, we headed to Chris and Joyce's wedding in South Bend. It was at the Bascilica of the Sacred Heart on the Notre Dame Campus. It was beautiful, and Dave managed to survive, and I made sure he didn't touch the holy water there for fear of burning himself. Seeing the touchdown Jesus was fun, and we headed back to Adrian. After being in South Bend, we had to take a trip to Mecca and had a great time in Ann Arbor.

We had the opportunity to meet our new nephew AJ. Some of the grandkids got together for what might be the last chance at a photo together. We were pleased we could see everyone, and had a great time!

Dave's Air Force Seperation

It's official, Dave has seperated from the Air Force. After 6 years, he is now a private citizen. He has taken a job with a company called MWH and is working at Randolph Air Force Base as an AETC contractor. He is really enjoying his new job, and we are enjoying having him home instead of in Iraq. His seperation ceremony was fun, and Audrey enjoyed shaking hands with everyone.
