Audrey's School Photos

I can't believe it is that time of year again already, but we have received Audrey's school photos. She is now in the 3 year old room, and loves it. She loves being with all of her friends, and music class the best. She has been working with Dave and is starting to learn how to read books with him. She loves to help us read her favorite book about Curious George.

"Shoes" the Scarecrow

We couldn't be more excited, fall has finally arrived. Although in Texas, you know fall has arrived when the temp reaches 90 degrees. Audrey couldn't be happier. She loves the apples and the pumpkins that come with the change of season, but she has found her new favorite fall activity........building a scarecrow! Dave and I helped her put together her very own scarecrow. She has decided to name him "shoes the scarecrow". Of course he wouldn't be an official part of the Pratt family if he wasn't wearing his Michigan shirt.

Football Season is Here!

It's that time of year again! Michigan and Bama football have officially started. The flags are out, and although Michigan had a rough start, Audrey's team spirit is still in full swing. She has learned all the words to "Hail to the Victors" this year and loves Big Al. Everytime she sees him she screams "Roll Tide". Bama's season is looking great so far, and I couldn't be happier they hired Nick "Satan" Saban. Michigan is looking better and better every week, and we are hoping for a 9-2 season. Saturday in the fall just can't be beat.

Michigan/Chicago/South Bend Excursion

One of our vacations this year was to see the family, go to a friends wedding, and take some time out for ourselves and go to Chicago. We dropped Audrey off in Adrian with Grandma and Grandpa and headed to Chicago. As pregnant as I was, I managed to walk all over the Miracle Mile, go to the Art Institute, the aquarium, and Millenium Park. After a jam packed 2days, we headed to Chris and Joyce's wedding in South Bend. It was at the Bascilica of the Sacred Heart on the Notre Dame Campus. It was beautiful, and Dave managed to survive, and I made sure he didn't touch the holy water there for fear of burning himself. Seeing the touchdown Jesus was fun, and we headed back to Adrian. After being in South Bend, we had to take a trip to Mecca and had a great time in Ann Arbor.

We had the opportunity to meet our new nephew AJ. Some of the grandkids got together for what might be the last chance at a photo together. We were pleased we could see everyone, and had a great time!

Dave's Air Force Seperation

It's official, Dave has seperated from the Air Force. After 6 years, he is now a private citizen. He has taken a job with a company called MWH and is working at Randolph Air Force Base as an AETC contractor. He is really enjoying his new job, and we are enjoying having him home instead of in Iraq. His seperation ceremony was fun, and Audrey enjoyed shaking hands with everyone.
